The International Union of Muslim Scholars condemns Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan and calling for the withdrawal of Armenia from the occupied Azerbaijani territories

The International Union of Muslim Scholars, an organization that includes tens of thousands of Muslim scholars from 93 countries and dozens of scholarly organizations, issued a statement on October 10, 2020 condemning the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan and calling for the withdrawal of Armenia from the occupied Azerbaijani territories.

In a statement, the organization condemned the Armenian occupation and aggression, and warned that the aggression and occupation were doomed to vanish no matter how long it takes, and confirmed that Nagorno-Karabakh is part of Azerbaijan and did not submit to Armenia. The statement said that four UN Security Council resolutions called on Armenia to withdraw from the occupied territories.

The organization called on Armenia to immediately withdraw from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, to recognize Nagorno Karabakh as an Azerbaijani land, and to start negotiations in this direction. The statement also called on the parties to stop fighting in order to establish peace and stability.
