Azerbaijani delegation attended the opening ceremony of the National Museum of Qatar

On March 27, 2019, the opening ceremony of the new building of the National Museum of Qatar was held under the auspices of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.

Delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Sevda Mammadaliyeva and Ambassador Rashad Ismayilov attended the event.

Then participants of the event became familiar with the activity of the museum. After the acquaintance with the museum, a banquet was hosted in honor of the guests.

At the end of the reception Deputy Minister Sevda Mammadaliyeva met with the Emir of Qatar HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad al-Thani, conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Emir of Qatar and His congratulations on the opening of the museum.

The Deputy Minister met with the First Lady of Qatar Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Misnad, Director of the National Museum of Qatar Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani and Deputy Chairman and Executive Director of Qatar Education, Science and Social Development Fund Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani.
