Qatar's “The Peninsula” newspaper published an article dedicated to the national leader Heydar Aliyev

At the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Doha, Qatar’s Peninsula newspaper published an article dedicated to the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

The article notes that  on May 10 Azerbaijani people celebrate the 95th birth anniversary of their national leader Heydar Aliyev , who was a great historical leader, devoted his life to the development and prosperity of his country and people.

The article highlights the life and political activity of Heydar Aliyev. Referring to the difficulties occurred in  Azerbaijan in the early years of its  independence, Heydar Aliyev worked hardly for protection of his country's independence.

The Article  added that more than 30 years of the modern history of Azerbaijan, the development and revival of the country's political, economic and cultural life are connected with the name of Heydar Aliyev, as a result of its far-sighted domestic and foreign policy, Azerbaijan has become a reliable partner in the world. Heydar Aliyev's personality is the main factor in today's successful development of Azerbaijan.

The article noted that Ilham Aliyev, the worthy successor of the national leader of Azerbaijan, successfully continues the political course of Heydar Aliyev. It was noted that the Azerbaijani people will never forget the services of Heydar Aliyev.
