Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the State of Qatar Rashad Ismayilov held a meeting with the Chairman of the Qatar Tourism Authority Omar Abdulrahman Al Jabir

on  April 29, 2018 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the State of Qatar Rashad Ismayilov and Chairman of the Qatar Tourism Authority Omar Abdulrahman Al Jabir discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in the tourism sector.

During the meeting, it was mentioned about the steps taken within the last year, contributing to the development of tourism, the possibility of visa issuance at the border crossing points of both countries and the importance of having 14 direct flights a week between the capitals. It was also noted that our country provided an opportunity to obtain an urgent visa within three hours via the "ASAN visa" system for the Gulf countries, including Qatar citizens.
