Ambassador Rashad Ismayilov submitted his letter of credentials to Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani

On April 12, 2018 Ambassador Rashad Ismayilov submitted his letter of credentials to Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani.

At the meeting Ambassador R.Ismayilov conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Deputy Emir and said that he will try for further development of Azerbaijan-Qatar Cooperation in accordance with his assigned responsibility.

The Ambassador noted that the mutual visits of the last years by the heads of the states contributed to the deepening of bilateral relations and noted that the two countries had effective cooperation within international organizations.

The Ambassador noted that Qatar's support for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity is highly appreciated by our country. Noting that the candidacy of Baku was nominated to host the EXPO-2025 international Exhibition, Ambassador added that we hope for the support of Qatar to the nomination of Baku.

H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani delivered his greetings to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and congratulated on the landslide victory in the presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

H H once again congratulated Ambassador on his new appointment and wished him every success in his mission.
