Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the State of Qatar held a meeting with Qatari bloggers

On April 7, 2018, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the State of Qatar held a meeting with Qatari bloggers. The meeting was organized to inform local bloggers about the Republic of Azerbaijan and introduce cultural, historical values ​​and tourism opportunities of our country through the social media.

At the meeting with the well-known bloggers of Qatar, at the outset a film about the country's comprehensive development and tourism potential was demonstrated.

Later, Ambassador Rashad Ismayilov welcomed the guests and noted that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the development of cooperation with the Arab countries, especially Qatar, which both sides share similar religious and cultural values. Noting that the friendly relations between the Leaders of the both states contributed to the development of bilateral cooperation. Ambassador stressed the importance of reciprocal visits at the highest level in recent years.

Speaking about the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Ambassador said that Azerbaijan appreciates Qatar's support for the restoration of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country.

During the meeting, the bloggers were informed about the history, geography, culture and tourism opportunities of our country. İt was expressed that number of Qatari tourists coming to our country significantly increased.

Qatari bloggers thanked for organizing the meeting and said they are ready to contribute to the further promotion of Azerbaijan in Qatar.
