Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the State of Qatar Rashad Ismayilov met with General Director of Qatar's Al-Jazeera Media Network

On  April 2, 2018 Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the State of Qatar Rashad Ismayilov met with the General Director of Qatar's Al-Jazeera Media Network Mustafa Souag and Executive Director of Aljazeera English Giles Trendle.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on Azerbaijani-Qatari relations. It was emphasized that our country attaches great importance to the development of cooperation with the Arab world, which both sides share historically religious and cultural commonalities.

The prospects of cooperation between Al Jazeera media network and relevant media organizations of our country were discussed. Possibilities of dissemination of materials about Azerbaijan in the television channels and electronic information portals of Al Jazeera Media Network were reviewed.

Importance of delivering true and accurate information on our country, especially Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to the international community through Al Jazeera channel as a leading media entity of the region was highlighted.
