On May 21, 2016 Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Mohammed bin Abdurrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar within the 16th Doha Forum
At the meeting the ministers expressed satisfaction with the current level of relations between the two countries and discussed the cooperation in the political, economic, trade and tourism fields.
