Visit of Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov to the State of Qatar
The delegation led by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov paid a visit to Qatar. Within the framework of the visit, a number of meetings were held and discussions were conducted on the development of cooperation with Qatar.
At the meeting of Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, it was emphasized that the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries are strengthening and that high-level visits and meetings play an important role in the development of the partnership.
During the meeting with the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, it was emphasized that expanding trade relations is one of the priority objectives in bilateral relations.
During the visit, meetings were held with the Chief Executive Officer of the Qatar Investment Authority, Mohammed Saif Al-Sowaidi and the President and Group CEO of Qatar's Power International Holding Moutaz Al-Khayyat.
Within the framework of the visit, documents envisaging partnership in the energy sector were signed between SOCAR and Qatar's UCC Holding.
